Developed alongside ISO 59020 (Measuring and assessing circularity performance) MCI shaped how circularity is measured globally today.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What it is:<\/strong> The MCI is a single score measuring how circular a product is, from 0% (linear \u2018take-make-waste\u2019) to 100% (fully circular).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works:<\/strong> The MCI shows where materials come from, how they are used, and how they are recovered. It is a \u2018living metric\u2019 used to declare circularity at the point of manufacture and then updated downstream to reflect actual use and recovery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose:<\/strong> MCI Pro is widely used for measuring and declaring product circularity, it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highlights hot-spots and informs product and procurement strategies<\/li>\n<li>Calculates recycled, reused, and regenerative content in complex products<\/li>\n<li>Generates product declarations for independent validation<\/li>\n<li>Outputs machine-readable Product Circularity Data Sheets (PCDS) aligned with ISO 59040 for communication and Digital Product Passports<\/li>\n<li>Is used for internal communication and for verified claims, including in EPDs<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>TARGET GROUP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">MCI is used by product designers, manufacturers, managers, marketing and procurement teams as well as circular economy and sustainability professionals.
